Arc of Quality…

Last Fall, when I built the Gypsywagen, I chose BCX grade plywood to “skin” the coach, this instead of MDO grade (marine) plywood which was unavailable in rural Northern New Mexico. This material has since proved problematic with considerable de-lamination of its outer surfaces. The fix involves a labor intensive effort of sanding and puttying all the surfaces, followed with a skim coat of Bondo, an epoxy material used in auto body repair. After a final sanding, new coats of paint will bring all the surfaces to a smooth outcome.

The goal has always been to create a prototype for modern, Teardrop-style RV trailers, which I plan to market and manufacture as time goes by. After decades of creating fine products for a wide range of clientele, my business motto is:

“We’ll Do It Right If We Have To”
